At the edge of the Marina Botafoch Port, there is a typical narrow street which goes all the way up, and at the end of it, you will find this restaurant hidden in a beautiful house under an impressive fig tree. The atmosphere is friendly with a warm welcome. I recommend to try the delicious tuna and the famous vegetable lasagna. The amounts are big enough. It is a quiet place, where you can enjoy an exquisite dinner and absolutely stunning views over the sea and the port of Ibiza. Without a doubt, this place is highly recommended. Don’t forget to book a table if you want to make sure that your romantic dinner out comes true.
This restaurant is probably one of the most original places where you have ever been in the whole island. Sa Capella is an old chapel called Santa Agnés dated 18th century, located on the outskirts of Sant Antoni village, renovated and converted it into an elegant restaurant in 1979.
This romantic restaurant offers a delicious mediterranean cuisine and a carefully selected wine list. If you want to surprise your other half, i have no doubt that the place and its solemn atmosphere will wrap you. Surely, this experience will remain a memorable day for both of you.
Hotel Hacienda Naxamena
This restaurant is situated in a hotel, on the edge of a cliff, with heartbreaking views over the sea, a pleasant surprise for your special one. The sunset from here is one of the best in Ibiza and will get you astonished by the beauty of the landscape. And its chill-out decoration will do the rest.
This restaurant – called Eden – offers authentic delicatessen recipes that will please even the most demanding of palates. The dishes are not very abundant, but the good quality of the food will impress you. They offer a wide variety of meals and specialities, weather you want to have a seafood dish or you prefer meat. If you are going with your loved person, they have an aphrodisiac menu, with oysters, ginger, nuts and exotic species. If you dare you can try it.
If there is something that should be particularly emphasised, it is its quality and creative cuisine performed by chef Pablo Castillo, who has worked in restaurants such as El Bulli by Ferran Adrià. Sa Carbonería offers excellent products and gourmet recipes. We recommend the beef steak cooked on a hot stone, and some other menu suggestions as the roasted breast of duck with foie gras, or even, the crispy pork belly.
Apart from their spectacular gastronomy, Sa Carboneria has a beautiful patio where to have dinner under the stars, in a romantic and relaxed atmosphere. It also has two cosy dining rooms inside.
Las Puertas del Cielo
This familiar restaurant is located in a privileged spot known as Sa Penya Esbarrada by the geographic guides, but popularly called as Las Puertas del Cielo (The Gates of Heaven) by the population of Ibiza. The restaurant is on a cliff, making it one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the island. A lovely place to eat and extend an after-dinner conversation while you enjoy the sunset, or simply to fancy a dinner outdoors in a summer’s evening. They also has a wonderful dining room with a fireplace for the winter months.
Good value for money. It is worth trying the typical paella. In winter it offers an exquisite typical rice with some meat called as “arroz de matanzas”, similar to paella but not the same. In summer, sardines. As well, if you dare to try the fried octopus, this typical dish of the island is absolutely delicious.
