As you know, breakfast is the most important meal. But for some people is more than that. It is the celebration of a new day, one day more in the beautiful Ibiza. So today we tell you what are the best places to enjoy a good breakfast on the island, start your day filled of positive energy in the scenery that you love. What do you prefer? Having breakfast with views over the sea, forgetting the clock next to the walls of Dalt Vila, or being surrounded by lemon and almond trees?

Croissant Show. Here the croissant is second to none in town. Its owner, André Quidu, with its peculiar moustache to the Dali’s style, gives to the local special touch that makes it different. Above all, the location of this establishment is privileged. Its terrace is just at the door of entry to the city walls. Highly recommended their juices natural, their homemade cakes and their famous quiches, that you can’t miss.

The Paloma Coffee. It is a farm located in San Lorenzo, in the middle of the island, which offers elaborated and healthy breakfast made with organic products. It is said to be the best smoothies and fresh juices in Ibiza. Every day, they offer homemade pastry, bread and cake. But, there is something more you should know. At La Paloma, you will have breakfast in a cozy and beautiful garden surrounded by magnificent fruit trees and flowers.

The Forn de Can Coves. You also can take away a delicious breakfast, from the popular Can Coves Bakery, where they make one of the best flaos – a typical tart from Ibiza -, and some kinds of homemade bread with products 100% organic from local providers. Highly recommended are all the pastries and cakes, made with family recipes which have been passed down from generation to generation.

Can Anneta. If you want to get a nice slice of bread with jamón serrano – typical spanish ham – and oil of olive, Bar Anita is worth a visit, right in the interior of the island. We talked already about it in another post explaining typical dishes from Ibiza, precisely because of its famous liquor. This bar is located in the square of the village’s church in Sant Carles, belonging to the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu.

Grand Cafe Capuccinno. If you want to start the day with the best views over the sea, this is definitely your place. Grand Cafe Capuccinno is situated in the harbour of Marina Botafoch with totally spectacular views that will make you recharge your energy to face the day. We recommend to try some of the recipes with organic eggs, the artisanal breads and the croissants with ham and cheese. To sum up, quality food and awesome atmosphere.
